What are good games to play with your ferret?
In about a week I’m getting a ferret and I want to know good games to play with her so she won’t get bored.
I don’t know about everyone’s ferrets, but mine like:
tug of war (knot an old sock)
tunneling (especially when I drag my hand along the tunnels, wiggling the tunnels while they have to try to get through them)
Wrestling (either with me or each other)
Crawling through boxes
Knocking around a soda bottle filled with beads/beans
Being toted around the room/house so they can see/smell things they normally don’t get to
Stashing things (I’ll ‘leave’ something new and ferret safe–some kind of household item–and let them ‘steal’ it)
Playing in hayboxes
Playing in a container (not the tub, mine hate that) of water spiked with ferret tone
Balls with bells in them (I’ll put them in the tunnel and they go chasing after them)
Climbing EVERYTHING they can
Jumping after the comforter/blanket when I shake it out
