Has Hilary made it difficult for a woman to run for president in the future because of her cat like campaign?
I don't believe that it has hurt the chances of other women, who may run for President in the future, but it has definitely made her look bad. In the beginning, I was for either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama, as long as it was not a Republican who wins. As Obama began to get a lead over her, Hillary Clinton who was so sure of herself, believe that no way this individual could out beat her, then begin to change her strategy. Hillary then became desperate, saying things like she was in sniper fire in Bosnia, which was a absolute lie.
Then when the Reverand Wright controversy started, she jumped on the chance to attack Obama's character, instead of sticking to what is important, which is the issues of the American People. Hillary continued on and on about the Reverand Wright issue, and thought this would cause her to win in North Carolina and win big in Indiana. Hillary's dirty tricks did not work, instead of her learning a lesson from this, Mrs. Clinton tries to divide America, by playing the race card, saying white working blue-collar workers will not vote for Barack. Hillary had already had stoop to her lowest level, but noone thought she would go even lower. To me the campaign for the nomination is already over, and it seems that Barack Obama may be the Democratic Nominee. Even with all this, Hillary Clinton is acting like a spoil baby, and refuses to accept her loses, and congradulate the winner, and try to unite the Democratic Party. Through all this, I feel like she has lost a lot of respect, the way she ran her campaign. She comes off as a sore loser, and someone who has to have her way. Many of her followers think Hillary Clinton is tough by staying in this campaign, but a true team player knows when to accept defeat, congradulate the other team, and train to work harder to win the next time around.
As I stated before, I believe that women still will have a chance to run and win the Presidency in the future. They must learn from the mistakes of Hillary Clinton, and not follow them.
